Mechoui-Slow Roasted Spit Fire Lamb

The Moroccan specials were excellent. We shared the lamb and the chicken tagine. Good level of spice. Our family is enjoying the different cusines. Thanks for adding this feature!

Irish Whiskey Glazed Salmon

My toddler (almost 3) and I dined at Ashling kitchen for Mother's Day. The staff were kind and attentive, and our food was delicious! I really appreciated the rose and note presented to me at the end of our meal. It was a really nice touch! I'll definitely return!

Jamaican Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta

I have lived in Crofton just a few short months and so disappointed that I did not try this place sooner. I absolutely loved it. It is a cute establishment with excellent food. I can't wait to try more come back.

Southern Style Seafood Gumbo

My wife and I decided to come to Ashling Kitchen & Bar and it was great! We heard about the restaurant on the Next Door app. We were greeted by a nice hostess, and the place had a really cool vibe to it. Our waiter came by and gave us two menus (one with the American food) and a West African menu. I ordered the Southern Style Seafood Gumbo. Now I do not care for okra, but when I got my dish, I was like "okra yum!" And the sauce was on point! Each bite melted in my mouth. I wanted to go back and hug the chef! Lastly, my wife ordered the key lime pie and blueberry sorbet and drizzle glaze. The waiter recommended on putting both on our spoons before tasting and he was right! Ashling Kitchen & Bar was hitting those touchdowns! Ashling Kitchen & Bar was a great experience! I am glad to see such a different food representing the area!! We will be back! Thank you again! Roasted Arnold Palmer 1/2 Chicken

We stumbled upon Ashling Kitchen by way of the haddock po boy from the food truck at Foodtruck Thursdays in Odenton, it was tue best fish sandwich I had ever had! Went to the restaurant and was blown away. We have been back too many times to count since our introduction in April, 2021. I'll commenting on the chicken because I have never, in all my life, had cooked chicken that reheats well. The chicken was beyond amazing when I first brought it home. The next day, I heated some of it up in the oven, it kept all of its moisture and flavor. 2 days later, I took the rest to work and heated it up in the microwave, still as amazing as the first day. Whatever you all are doing to the chicken, please, I beg of you, don't stop!!! We, my mom and I, usually come on a Saturday afternoon and get wings and a burger to eat there and carry food home for the next day. This will continue. I have yet to be disappointed with any my entrees and I am sooooo looking forward to brunch starting June 6th.

Moroccan Chicken Tagine with Preserved Lemons & Olives

This was our first visit to Ashling. We were impressed by the attractive design and warm greeting by hostess and server.. My dish of Moroccan Chicken was out of sight, with a wonderful mound of chicken smothered with a Devine sauce and the meat falling off the bone. The chicken rested on a mound of Couscous and a side of cannelli beans. The dish was seasoned to perfection and could have been shared by two people. My husband had the whiskey salmon with risotto that was also outstanding. We live in Annapolis but it is well worth the trip. We will back again soon.

Oh my god I have no idea what they put in them but these are the best Brussels sprouts you will ever try. I promise. They're that good. I don't even like Brussels sprouts but I dream about these.

Oxtail and Bone-in Goat Meat Pepper Soup (Ragout)

My husband and I decided to come to Ashling Kitchen & Bar and it did not disappoint! We heard about the restaurant on the Next Door app. When we arrived, we were greeted by a nice hostess, and even though we did not have a reservation, she was able to seat us. The place is small, however, it has a nice cozy feel. The place has a nice size bar, seating and private dining for events (where we ate). Our waiter came by and gave us two menus (one with the American food) and a West African menu. A smile came over my face as I saw the Oxtail and Bone-In Goat Meat Pepper Soup. I love both oxtail and goat, and with the combination, I became very excited! Once the food came, my taste buds exploded as my mouth tasted the tender oxtail and goat meat. And the sauce was heavenly! The chef took his time in cooking this meal. It was as if he went back to West Africa and brought it back just for me. Lastly, I ordered the key lime pie and blueberry sorbet and drizzle glaze. The waiter recommended on putting both on my spoon before tasting and another mouthwatering explosion happened again! Ashling Kitchen & Bar was winning again! Forgot to mention, I took pictures of my food and sent them to my family and even they wanted to be in my seat during that time, so Ashling Kitchen & Bar you have more people from my side coming soon! Thank you for the ambiance, service, food and dessert! It was a great experience! I am glad to see such a diverse type of food representing in the Crofton/Bowie area!! Keep it up! We will be back! Irish Whiskey Glazed Salmon

I worked with Ashling to cater my sister's backyard wedding in October 2020. They were professional, on-time, accommodating to my budget, and so wonderful to work with. They understood and respected our desire to keep everything as "covid-safe" as possible, including separate appetizer displays for each table of guests. Everyone still talks about the food, especially the Irish Whiskey Glazed Salmon. It was all delicious, well-made, and arrived piping hot. We will absolutely be using Ashling for future events!
